Along the way, stop to absorb the history of Naples and jump back in time by visiting the ghostly excavations of Pompeii. The Sorrento peninsula is easily one of the country’s most lavish and beautiful regions, ideal for relaxing and sightseeing alike. From there, Capri and its famed Blue Grotto are only a ferry ride away.

Pompeii: ‘The buried city,’ it was once the holiday destination of rich ancient Romans because of its healthy weather and impressive views. Its archaeological zones, Herculano and the Annunziata Tower have all been included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO.
Sorrento: Is famous for its cliffs, its steep streets and its view to the blue water of Ischia, Capri and the Naples Bay. Its exuberant vegetation and its great weather has made it in the favorite city for the Romans.
Capri: Is a rocky island off the shores of the southern Italian region of Campania, is famed for its rugged landscape, sophistication, upscale hotels and shopping, from designer fashions to Limoncello and handmade leather sandals.

Meet your assistant at Termini Station at about 8:00 a.m. (optional private transfer can be arranged from hotels in Rome, if centrally located) and take high speed train to Naples. Upon arrival at Naples train station you will be met by our expert local guide to proceed to Pompeii for the guided tour of the archaeological excavations. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years. At the end of the visit transfer to Sorrento, famous for its picturesque old town centre and characteristic fisherman’s village of Marina Grande, one of the most authentic treasures of the city. A local assistant will welcome you at the hotel during the check-in. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Sorrento.
Breakfast in the hotel and departure at 7:30 a.m. for the port of Sorrento. Meet the guide and sail to Capri by hydrofoil. After arriving at the island, enjoy a boat trip around the island and have the possibility to visit the Blue Grotto (optional entrance, weather permitting). Continue by minibus to Anacapri. Then reach the legendary Piazzetta, heart of the island. Return to the port to head back to Sorrento. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel check out and transfer at 10:30 am to Amalfi. On the way we will make 2 hours stop in Positano to discover the pearl of the Amalfi coast. Proceed to Amalfi, a town rich in history that gives its name to the entire coastline. Check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Wake up to breakfast at the hotel and then spend the day at leisure, enjoying the beauty of the area at your own pace. There is a possibility to book an optional private tour to visit the Amalfi Coast, one of the most enchanting places in Italy, with its mountains dropping sheer to the sea, picturesque villages and breathtaking landscapes (duration approx. 8hrs, tour guide included).

After breakfast at the hotel spend the morning at leisure in Amalfi. Then at around 15:00 pm transfer to Naples. Our local assistant in Naples train station will help you to board the high speed train going to Rome.
